A lot has happened since I lost wrote. The most important thing is that Tammy said yes. A few months before their wedding day, they found out Tammy was pregnant. When the day of their wedding finally rolled around, Tammy was so heavily pregnant that a wedding dress was out of the question. Everything turned out just fine though.

I was so happy about this day. Ramsi and I even talked at the wedding. He was concerned about Columbus and his choice of friends. He thought I should make him straighten up or get out. I told Ramsi that Columbus wasn’t a bad child. In fact, all three of my children were angels. He was also concerned about his relationship with Columbus.

We walked around and mingled with the guests and had a few drinks. After most of  them were gone, Ramsi pulled me into his arms and kissed me hard. “Asa, I’m sorry for the wasted years. I don’t know why I didn’t see who you were when we were younger. I love you and I love our boys. Can I please stay with you tonight,” Ramsi begged. I let him stay that night and he ate spaghetti while I got Morgan ready for bed.

While I was walking back downstairs, I saw Chandra and Columbus outside. Maybe they’ll be next, I hoped as I watched them giggling and playing in the moonlight.

Ramsi and I were up most of the night talking. It was a wonderful night. I felt like I was young again, but I knew in a matter of years I’d be 60 years old. We talked about the grandbaby that was on the way and all the things that he missed while he was gone. We didn’t realize it at the time, but this would be our last time to be together. Ramsi passed away a short time later.

Everyone, including Tammy, pitched in to better the garden. Columbus and I were planning a trip to China to learn martial arts as soon as we had the money. It was also to give Chris and Tammy some alone time with their new child.

Late one night I got a phone call that I wasn’t expecting. “Asa, this is Ayman. Can I speak to my daughter? I know she is probably asleep, but let me talk to her.” I woke Morgan up and handed her the phone. “This is your father,” I told her. After they were finished on the phone I heard Morgan come in my room. “Momma, tell me about my daddy, ” she said. She fell asleep that night to me telling her about all my adventures and all my loves.

When I finally fell asleep that night, I heard Chris screaming, “Mom, the baby is coming.” Tammy and Chris are proud parents of a little girl, named Heather.

They brought Heather home to a nice surprise. The kitchen had caught on fire because Columbus tried to cook some waffles. The boys tried frantically to put out the blazes, but Morgan was the smart one and she dialed 911. The kitchen escaped major damage and no lives were harmed.

Columbus and I decided that since the baby was here, it was time to take our martial arts trip. Morgan didn’t want to go, so we let her stay with Tammy and Chris. The first thing I did was look at the adventure board. I found an adventure dealing with martial arts, but first Columbus and I went to the academy to practice.

The trip was nice and we both earned a few belts in the process. We got home and got settled in our routine with a new baby in the house. After a year of marriage it was time to celebrate not only an anniversary but a birthday also. Heather turned 1 year old.

The same night, Morgan turned 13 years old. It was time to raise my final teenager and time to decide who my next heir/heiress should be. I really started weighing my options.

Morgan, Heather, and I went shopping and to the spa for makeovers one afternoon after the party. Spending time with just the girls is a lot of fun!

Tammy also worked during the night, so she could keep her daughter during the day. She taught Heather to walk and talk during these days alone, together.  It took a little longer to learn to use the potty, but that eventually was learned too.

I heard Tammy being sick in the bathroom one morning. “Tammy, what’s going on,” I asked her. “I don’t know. I have been feeling sick every morning lately.” I took her to the doctor later on that day and we found out she was pregnant.  Chris was thrilled. Columbus complained a little. He thinks it’s getting a bit too crowded around here.

He finally asked Chandra to marry him and she said yes without a second thought. I really hope her commitment issues have faded since she has gotten older. Only time will tell.

The wedding wasn’t quite as big as Chris’, but it was still beautiful. Columbus moved out that night. He and Chandra bought a pretty big house on the other side of town. I told him I’d call him when the decision was made about my will.

Heather made a beautiful baby at the wedding. She sat in the grass picking her nose. As Columbus got in the cab and rode off she said, “Uncle went bye bye.”

The next few months passed quickly and Tammy was soon very heavily pregnant. Heather wasn’t too happy about becoming a big sister. “Look Heather, your brother or sister is in Mommy’s tummy,” Chris told Heather. “No, dada. No baby,” Heather said.

Helda and Heidi were born on a sunny Tuesday. They were beautiful little girls.

Heather and I shared a birthday party when the twins were 6 months old. I took her on the traditional make over trip.

I forgot to write about our new house. We slowly had been building a new one while tearing down the old one. Its finally move in ready. It’s huge with 3 bedrooms upstairs and a nursery downstairs. We also moved our garden and fenced it in.
