Hey everyone. It’s me, Chris, again. A lot has been going in our house lately. One big change is the time I have been spending with the kids. The teenagers weren’t concerned about spending time with me, but I still had the small ones to build up relationships with. I care deeply about my girls and want the best for them. I was sure to tuck in Hannah and Hormonie every night at bedtime. “Good night Hannah, I love you,” I always told her as I laid her in bed. She couldn’t speak yet, but would always smile up at me.

I also tried to be the one that fed them breakfast each morning. Once I left for work I knew my time with them that day was done. By the time I came home and had dinner it was time for bed again. “Daddy work,” Hormonie said to me one morning. “Yes, baby. Daddy has to go to work, but I will always come home to you,” I promised her.

Helda has a natural cooking talent and we have encouraged her to fix meals for us daily. I also sent her to a cooking class to improve her skills. I’ve encouraged her numerous times to buy recipe books with her allowance. Maybe cooking will be her career goal in the future. I would be glad to send her to culinary school.

Mom has retired after a long successful career. Her final title was Mad Scientist. She would have kept on working, but we were doing fine and she needed time to relax and enjoy herself. The only bad thing about this was she got a little too bored and started performing experiments on the kitchen appliances. I’m starting to think she is developing Alzheimer’s. “Alright, let’s see if this works,” I heard her saying one day. I rushed in the kitchen to see what was going on. “Mom, what are you doing?” I asked her. “I’m trying to make the stove only cook perfect food,” she replied. I tried to tell her not to do experiments on anything in the house, but I kept finding her doing different things.

Time seemed to fly by, and soon it was Hannah’s birthday. Tammy planned a little family party at home for her. She went to the grocery store in her swimsuit, and bought the perfect cake. We sang happy birthday to her and she aged up. Tammy took her to the salon for a makeover.

“Sissy looks like me,” Hormonie said after Hannah got home. Tammy explained that since they were sisters they would look alike, but that they weren’t twins like their big sisters. Hormonie had turned 3 and was excited about starting kindergarten in a few years.

I received a promotion and got Tuesdays and Wednesdays off work. During those days I let Mom and Tammy get out of the house and I spent time with Hormonie and Hannah. Hormonie was independent and entertained herself. I taught Hannah her skills during this time. I was so happy when I heard Hannah say DaDa for the first time. I think that I may have a closer bond with Hannah than my other children.

Heather had her 18th birthday and graduated high school. We had a huge party for her and her friends. I have promised all my daughters the chance  to go to college. Heather refused the offer and said she had bigger, better plans. She wouldn’t tell me what these plans were. Her final trait was vegetarian and her lifetime want was to become the emperor of evil.

Hormonie shared a party with Heather and gained the heavy sleeper trait. “I get to go to school now, and make friends,” she said after she aged up. I’m glad to see her so excited about going to school.

A surprise visitor showed up at the party. Louis, Heidi’s boyfriend, flew in from France to see her. She was thrilled about introducing him to me. I wasn’t too impressed. I think he is ugly. The worst part is seeing them kiss. I wanted to pound him in the head. “Dad, please be nice to him,” Heidi pleaded. “Fine, but if he touches you I’ll kill him.”

Heather and Hormonie went to the spa for makeovers and took Hannah with them. I love seeing the sisters spending time together.

Heather:

Hormonie:

I agreed to let that Louis kid stay the night, but made him sleep in the living room. “Son, I won’t make you get a hotel, but you better not even go upstairs, or I’ll kick you out on your butt!!” I threatened him. “No sir. I respect all women. I promise,” Louis promised. He really is a good kid, but I wouldn’t trust him just yet.

Tammy spent her Saturday teaching Hannah to walk and use the potty. She was successful after a whole day of practicing. I peepee in the potty. I’m a big girl now,” Hannah went around saying for days.

A visit to Columbus’ showed that their daughter Anastasia has grown into a beautiful teenager. Columbus had some special news to share with Mom. “Chandra and I are expecting!” Columbus shared with his mom. “I’ll pray that its a boy,” Mom replied. She has become a bit senile and sometimes rude in her old age. She forgets everything and her personality has changed. She refuses to be seen by the doctor though.

While at Columbus’ home, Mom started having chest pain. The excitement proved to be too much for our mom and she collapsed on the floor. Columbus tried to start CPR, but it was no use her heart wasn’t starting back and her lungs were tired. She died peacefully with happy news on her mind. Although she was happy the Neverland family will never be same again. She had started this family with hopes of having children who would love traveling and exploring as much as she did. Our family hasn’t gotten to travel much, but that will change. This has always been a family of adventurers and we will be traveling in the near future.

Tammy tried to console me. I love her dearly. Through all of the hard times we have had and after all the kids we have raised she has been an amazing wife and mother. Even though I lost my mother I still have an amazing woman to fall back on. I am going to take all of us on a trip very soon as a celebration of the family we have become and in celebration of Asa Neverland’s life.

Tammy and I celebrated our birthdays. I won’t mention our ages, but we are considered “elders” now.  Hannah also shared our birthday and turned 5 years old. Man, has the time flown.
